Go up one level in this thread

You know what I think? Well, I'm gonna tell you, even though my $.02 is worth
exactly that.

a) Skinner screwed up that moderation intervention big time. This thing got
blown way out of proportion due to his approach, his attitude, and his remarks.
I agree, it's tough to be a moderator, but the prerequisites are thick skin and
emotional maturity. He failed in these areas. Seriously, if you're gonna be a
moderator, you have to know how to read a post and not get all pissy and throw
things and go crying to momma.

b) These extensive postings about new Rybka betas each day is annoying. Perhaps
there should be an ammendment to the charter to try to mitigate this. But short
of discussing that, people should shut up about it. There's no room to argue,
except to express baseless and useless opinions. And Skinner shouldn't have
allowed that to influence his final explosion about the commercial posting.

c) There are so many idiots on this forum, and Dr. Hyatt, please note that I am
NOT in any way implying that you one of them (you're one of the few sane ones),
that I wish the people with even the slightest grip on sanity and reason would
learn to ignore the ungodly stupidity that flies around here and gets responded
to. Too bad there's no way to add a charter rule about idiots.

My point is, wouldn't it be nice if the wee little children on this board would
grow up? I realize that this will never happen.
