By José Carlos (****) Date 1999-03-17 06:16 Imagine some aliens come to Earth and decide living among us. Imagine they learn chess rules and, after some time, they play fine. Imagine their brains are far different from ours, they have a very strong memory but weak inference capabilities. Imagine they become good players, but no as strong as human world champion. Imagine they ask us for playing in human tournaments, such as world championship, and for being included in ELO list. Would we let them do those things? Should we let chess programs do those things?
