Nowadays there is far stronger Rebel versions under the name Pro Deo.

They are free to download. It is the same engine from Ed Schroder like Rebel,
but it is far far newer and plays really a lot better than the old Rebel.

You'll need some interface that supports the uci engine protocol. Many
interfaces qualify for that.
