What are the best computer vs. computer engines? I've seen rating lists with Fruit on the top. I've also heard of Rybka. Which is strongest? A lot of people seem to deem Rybka as the strongest overall engine, are there any cons? Also, I'm especially interested in what the strongest short timer blitz engine is. I've noticed Fruit seems disproportionately weak at blitz. What about different time settings? What is the strongest engine for bullet times? The reason I am asking is because in games under 5 min/player, my Fritz 6 seems to easily handle Fruit 2 and the free version of Rybka, which probably shouldn't be the case. Are any of the so-called "Fruit derivatives" stronger than Fruit? Any decent websites on any of these issues?
