I also have both Hiarcs 9.6 and Genius 2.2 on my machines, and like you, I much prefer Hiarcs. I feel that it's not only more configurable, but also stronger, with better positional play and a much better endgame. Of course, it's based on a much more recent engine, so that shouldn't surprise anyone. Also, the PC program Hiarcs is known to be a very good blitz player, so that seems to help the Palms, which are of course much, much slower than our PCs. Mark A.
