Hi. I am new to this Forum so please be patient with me, I have one of these Beautiful Chess Computers, I know it communicates to the P.C. via a special interface lead to the Serial Port which I do not have, I do intend to try and build one, I do have a Circuit Diagram and Parts List, I have been informed that there are two pieces of software that may work, namely Maecenas and Crafty, what I need to know is has anybody that reads this Forum or knows of anybody that has any information leading to the successful playing of this Chess Computer against say Fritz or Chessmaster, I know that I may need more than two programs to do this apart from Fritz, I find it very frustrating to work out that I would need a program to convert the Bi-directional Serial Input / Output signals from the Renaissance to a P.C. and then a program to convert these binary / Hex sequences to a G.U.I. then to convert this to say Fritz and I do not know how to do it. So please. !Help! Thank you. Salutations Barrie.
