Hi all , first of all welcome to another new tester in CEGT. We are looking forward to the participation of Wolfgang Battig. what is coming next in CEGT?.... 1. Fantasy showdown 40/40 (2Ghz) agaist the Evil gods first results soon 2. King´s Gambit 40/120 repeated on AMDx2 4200+ update tomorrow 3. position based Blitz tournament, first two positions late this evening and tomorrow 4. Higher Class promotion 40/40 (final result tomorrow) 5. a CEGT team tournament will start in the following days. This will be World Trophy 2 (World Trophy 1 with a big lead for Fritz 9 -- I will give a final table for it soon, this was still without Rybka) Each knockout event will be held in a different country, starting with those CEGT testers come from. Each team comprises eight boards. The respective boards will play two 40/40 games against one another (totally 16) and four Blitz games (totally 32 for each match). Teams were not formed by nationalities but by a fair system just giving balanced teams by alternating choices. Charles and Mircea still have to pick their last engine for board 8 and then we could start. Testers will of course be happy when their chosen engines will be updated from time to time, those updates are possible at any time. So far we have: 1. Mircea board 1 --- Rybka 2.
