Good, I'm glad you got it solved. I would never have thought that could arise if
the quota was keep below regularly. How often you need to keep on top of it is
really the thing. But yes, that sounds like another great way to mess up the
numbering. Removing threads without removing posts first gets the same thing in
my experience. You too might wonder why any mod would want to delete every
thread in a board. Life goes on.......
