I don't have fritz 9, but earlier versions will occasionally ask you to insert the installation disc in the drive as a kind of copy protection scheme. I imagine version 9 might do this too. The only thing I can think of is to rip the disc to an ISO and mount the file with something like MagicDisc: http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm Of course, you should read the fritz license to see if it allows installs on multiple machines for a single user. Some software does, some doesn't.
