Heinz, could you hold in for a couple of minutes for a short read plus reflection of my message? Please do me the favor. All I can promise is that I'll keep it short. Very superficially I've read what is going on here - and therefore I dont know who has whom and when and who started and such details. What I've read is something between you and Andy or vice versa. And lingually alone this tends to get out of control. I see no reason why you two or even more shouldnt try to get on to talking terms again. My main reason: you both are real and have a true identity. And you both love our common hobby. So why even think about a longer flame war? Life is too short for such nonsense. As to Andy, please dont take too seriously that he was banned in CSS. Almost all good posters have been banned there in the past. Me too. Now it makes no sense to argue "you have said this or that there against someone from our group and therefore we threw you out or didnt accept you as a tester...", why do you do that? NOT that you hadnt the right to behave this way, but because of the climate I ask. What is a testgroup that lives with such extremely harsh policies? Why not tolerating all like in CCC and later decide if you could need the special test results ans games from a person? Why creating a closed in-group. Already the famous POPPER said that this tends to become undemocratic. What would you lose if someone like Andy could decide on his own if he participated? Why not showing a relaxed and smart reaction towards all possible contributors? I've read that for Andy also the anonymous background was a problem. Here he has a point. He stands with his name and identity for what he says. All what people say under anonymous hidance isnt as valuable. Not that what Sarah says isnt unworthy. I find it good that you tolerate people like Sarah. Why not accept a lawyer like Andy? Just as far as he wants to participate? I've read he doesnt want. Therefore why not hold a relaxed position towards people like him? Just look at CCC how smart people handle the problems. You do such a valuable job and give us so many results and all that so that you can well take a more observing position. Even the most evil person, I'm not implying that Andy is evil, could contribute something valuable. See the prisoner Bloodgood and his 1.g4 games... ;) With Blockwart A.S. meant someone who watched like Big Brother of Orwell what other people do. I'm sure you are nothing like that. But you see where it ends if you are involved in such wars. Just try to take a position which is smiling to all possible people, even towards yours truly, Rolf. And Andy, please could you be so kind and declare that you well see what Heinz does well and that you are also interested in a peaceful continuation of talks? I'm sure you would agree with me. Please let's bury the axe. Life is really too short to be wasted with such aggressions and hatred... GENS UN SUMUS Rolf - with good feelings to both of you and also to Sarah.
