Go up one level in this thread
I have had similar experiences. I couldn't really figure out what was going on, but it seemed to be that if I yanked the batteries and reset it, the problem would go away - only to reappear again later. It annoyed me enough that I stopped using it entirely (I am bad at chess, but not THAT bad..). I'd be interested in any solution anyone else has found. If you set it to play with a fixed search depth, it behaves better (while still being 'easy'), but then it moves in more or less constant time. Pretty disappointing. I guess they didn't work too carefully on the parts of the program for us patzers... - Steve On April 13, 1999 at 13:32:03, Frank Nelson wrote: >I found that when activating the easy option on average and tournament time >controls the Cosmos sacs all its material.
