Hi Steve,

has the CC1 been sold outside the US ?

a fews months ago, I bought 20 years of Europe Echecs from 1970 to 1990 :
the first chess computer to appear was the Compuchess... in an advertisment !
And the first "article" about chess computers mentionned the CC3 but not the
CC1.

By the way, one small anecdote about these "rare" computers : I had a Compuchess
I and a collector asked me if I wanted to sell it. I refused (I don't sell my
computers) but accepted a trade against a CC3 : I hadn't seen many CC3 on ebay
and was more interested by the CC3 than the Compuchess I...

...the CC3 I got does not work very well (it is unable to play a real game
without resetting itself)

... and I have seen many other CC3 on ebay, a lot more frequent than before !!!
(just like you say about CC1s)

Wish I kept my Compuchess I regards,

Alain
