The hardware use in the Rebel9 game was a AMD K6 266 mhz with 32 EDO ram.
The Time control was 2Hr. per game (Blitz 2 Hr.)
So, you can see that the hardware is not yet obsolete and the time control was
good enough to allow the computer play deep tactics. I think the Rebel 9 had a
bug which enforced to sacrifice the knigth (the sacrifice was an error in my
opinion). Also, the White Queen was isolated from the game (bug?) and so I
sacrificed on the white kingside and launched a good attack.
