I was a bit disappointed that nobody tried to improve the game of the
World-champion or its main contender so I tried myself! With a new attempt at
analysis, a new main variation and a .pgn which should be readable by the better
GUIs. Sofar the result seems to me good enough for a draw for Anand?

Drawback is that pawn h6 becomes more vulnerable, Bxh6 combined with the threat
of Qg6. But e6 is the key square writes Topalov so Black should try to prevent
White getting a piece on that square} 17...Re8 {!?}
18.Bc4 { may be the critical reply. Other moves just do not look to me quite as
good for White } (18. Bb5 { 18.Rxe8 does not seem better } Rxe1+ 19. Rxe1 Kg8 {
And now at least } 20.Re6 {seems a little less dangerous than in the game. An
alternative could be } (20.Bc4 { but 20...Na6 or 20...Nbd7 should be enough for
a draw } ) 20...a6 21.Bc4 b5 )
