kn/s is small in complex opening/middlegame positions with Rybka, then will get
larger in simpler positions and as the endgame approaches. It's just a variable
number. It is characteristic of the Rybka software, which is unlike any other
software, and is neither good or bad. If it goes to zero (0) then you have a
problem, otherwise don't worry... :) Actually it was zero (0) for awhile in some
earlier beta versions in some GUI's, but that was fixed. It looks like Vas has
been run off by this forum's moderators, but he used to respond here and explain
such things. At one point he was considering artificially increasing the kn/s
because so many people complained about it being low, but I think he decided
against it.
