I've started to use VC++ 2005 Express Edition. So far it seems like an amazing tool considering it's free. However, I'm certainly not a compiler expert but I'd still like to squeeze as much speed as possible into the EXE. So what compiler switches have people found to be the best? I'm using the following: /Ox /Ob2 /Oi /Ot /GT /D "WIN32" /D "NDEBUG" /D "_CONSOLE" /D "_VC80_UPGRADE=0x0710" /D "_MBCS" /FD /MT /Zp16 /GS- /Gy /arch:SSE /Fo"Release\\" /Fd"Release\vc80.pdb" /W0 /nologo /c /Gr /TC /errorReport:prompt Have I missed anything? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Steve
