I don't usually run engine tournaments, but enjoy watching engine games from
time to time. I find Game/15 min to be a nice time control for viewing a
game, allowing the engines to reach usually greater than 11 ply but not too
long to take in a game. It's nice to have your own GM strength players to
watch anytime that's convenient.
Here is a nice win by Spike 1.1 over Rybka 1.01 Beta 13d. I was surprised
that Rybka didn't sense any danger until after 36. Nf4.
Conditions: Arena GUI, Game in 15 min, Pentium M 1.5GHz
Ponder OFF, 128MB Hash for both
