I think you are right about hiarcs strength at longer time controls . check out http://web.telia.com/~u85924109/ssdf/list.. ( i believe this is one of the longest time controls at 40 moves in 2 hours repeated...i think with two computers, meaning one is always pondering) Fritz 9, a strong blitz program, seems to be below both fruit and hiarcs at longer time controls
