I love Hiarcs 7 and I successfully downloaded H7.01. When I created the
shortcut per the Hiarcs site instructions it changed my primary DOS autoexec.bat
and config.sys files. My computer stopped working as both WIN98 did not
function and MS-DOS no longer functioned. I had to erase my WIN98 files and
reload all of windows. This was a nightmare. Although I"m familiar with DOS
having used it for 10 years, I'm no longer eager to modify autoexec.bat and
config.sys files inside my hard disk. However, I want to run Hiarcs with
extended memory. I had run previous versions of Hiarcs with a boot disk. I
have a new computer and my old boot disk doesn't work on it. Could you please
give detailed instructions on how to set up a boot disk to run Hiarcs7 in
extended memory. Thanks so very much.
