If we had enough games to very accurately know their Elo values, it is foolish to say who will win for programs within a stone's throw of each other in strength when we are talking about a single match. For instance, if Joe has an Elo 200 Elo higher than Fred and they play a match, the Elo system does not tell us who will win the match. The Elo system tells us that the most probable outcome for the lower ranked player is about 24% of the points. But that assumes a huge number of trials. For an individual match, it does not predict the outcome. But, due to trichotomy, I feel it is safe to say that Rybka would either win, lose or draw the match.
