Hello, as you know with the new Fritz 9 GUI you have 3d boards like the turk and mia. to use them it always tells you to install directx 9.0c even if you have already directx 9.0c on your machine. but it actually only wants one file updated. so here is what you do without having to install directx 9.0c once again: 1. locate the file d3dx9_27.dll on the dvd in the folder directx. its in an archive starting with sept... (for xp us the x86 file) 2. copy this above mentioned file in the sytem32 folder from the windows folder. Now when you select the 3d board (turk,mia)in Fritz 9 everything should work well. please let me know if it works for you. Regards Marc
