If anyone tells you otherwise, they are guessing. It's probably a good guess that Rybka makes solid moves after several hours of analysis (as will most other professional chess programs). The endgame is a known sore spot, but in the early going, I think that Rybka is remarkable. On the other hand, I'm no chess genius, so my opinions could easily be wrong. It takes a long time to collect data at 2/hrs per move and so I expect that you will never see such a rating list. By the time you produced a solid enough rating to know whether one program was better than another, we would definitely be along to the next version of both programs and so the data would not answer the question you wanted to know. IMO-YMMV. Some others have been asking the same question, so you are in good company
