And you conclude that then nothin could be in common. My argument is different, Kirill. I say that Rybka is a follow-up for tournaments in special against other computers. You can well describe it with the essence of chess itself. Chess isnt solved and therefore? Think for yourself. Rybka plays moves others dont even expect and this is the difference in strength. And now it's a continual race between the chasing progs and the chased Rybka. Fritz doesnt need to compete in such a race. But still has the same overall power after now thousands of games against other progs. You cant "see" this with your calculations. I already said that your work is valuable. But it doesnt show everything. (I'm also writing this for history. In months members could re-read what has been said and at what stage. Interesting topic.) -Rolf
