However the Shredder version who lost against Hydra was a heavily buggy version (handicapped by mistake; an important part of the program was deleted) estimated about 150 points weaker than Shredder 9 ( I have said this at least 10 times now), so ANY strong chess program would have won against Shredder in those conditions. Now the latest Shredder vesion seems stronger than Rybka. I say seems because the positive score is only on a few games, so not enough to be sure, but we can make further improvements if needed. Hydra may be stronger too... What most people see is the past, while the future is seen only by a few people...the testers of the new secret versions. Sandro
