Having posted here ad nausea about the Fidelity Excellence it seems there is always something more to say about this little favorite of the Rank and File in actuality Fidelity released the Excellence in 4 versions: EP12-3 Mhz 6080-3 Mhz EP12-4 Mhz and a 6080B version to this day i do not know the exact difference between the 6080 and the 6080B the Swiss Collector i got mine from told me he opened the computer and found no difference between the B and other Excellences a top German collector told me he thought the B version had a minor bug fix to the program which effected the endgame play however all of this is "hearsay" evidence and so ,for me, the 6080B remains an enigma wrapped in a paradox the auction for the 6080B: http://cgi.ebay.com/The-EXCELLENCE-Computer-Chess-Game-Electronic-Fidelity_W0QQitemZ8771752726QQcategoryZ2554QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Steve B Regards
