There is no such thing as descriptive notation in a PGN file.
PGN uses only standard algebraic notation.

CDB in descriptive notation mode still reads and writes
standard PGN; the descriptive notation mode affects only
what you type and what you see on the display.  So you
can browse any reasonably conforming PGN file and see the
moves in descriptive notation, and you can enter descriptive
moves and export them in standard format.  The descriptive
notation mode is entirely a function of the user interface.

If you want to type in games in descriptive notation with
a text editor and then import them into a program, you're
out of luck.
