Hi all! Today we just finished our weekly update of CCRL 40/40 Rating List and statistics. What happened this week: First of all, we are happy to welcome George Speight to our team. His knowledge and passion is already proving to be very helpful. This week we are adding 621 new games, breaking the 6000 mark. Thanks to the continuous efforts of our enthusiastic testers: Graham Banks, Ray Banks, Sarah Bird, Kirill Kryukov, Tom Logan, Andreas Schwartmann, Charles Smith, George Speight and Chris Taylor. Please note that we test at 40/40 adjusted to Athlon 64 3800+, which means that each game lasts several hours, or more on slower hardware. Our rating list, games, and statistics are available here, as usual: http://ccrl.computerchess.org.uk/4040/ Top three are the same: Rybka, Fruit, Fritz. (Rybka, Fritz, Fruit - in the Pure list). Deep Junior 9 is on the 4-th place after it raised 8 points this week. Hiarcs 10 Hypermodern is at the 5-th place, after it again took lead from Default. Spike 1.1 got 150 games required to enter the "Best Versions" list, where it now takes 8-th position, between Smarthink and Deep Shredder. Graham added games of his "Amateur Championship" tourney, so now you can enjoy many amateurs in the "All Versions" list. Many of them have about 10 games now, but with continuous testing their rating will be more and more meaningful, after some time. With top engines getting more games, we are gradually starting to test more and more amateurs, so we will have a lot of interesting action in that area in coming weeks. Comments or additions are welcome! (But don't miss the CCT). :-) As usual our forum is open for questions, ideas, and discussion: http://kd.lab.nig.ac.jp/chess/discussion-board/viewforum.php?f=7 Best, Kirill
