Hello Marc The problems with ChessPartner was not know because I was testing with a GUI book. The book for the trny was not made until that night or thats when i got it. I am very active on all the servers daily playing games. I honestly like the ChessPartner GUI. To me it is much faster. Now going to the Winboard GUI its not that simple when using a UCI engine. So I was given some tips on how to set it up .. but, didn't know it was going to slow us down as it did. The first day was all ChessPartner GUI. Second Day was mostly Winboard / Poly. Bug with ChessPartner is when you try to let the UCI program use its own book. This means no poly or winboard, just straight Chesspartner. It has a but that will not let it start when your opponent is white. After the trny i tested this theory with Ryan which i was able to reproduce every time for a total of 4x's. I then switched to a Chesspartner native book and it worked fine. Hopes this clears up things a bit. Again i have lots of experience playing on all the server. As of recently I had not been playing on ICC because its hard to get games in. I also have my own programmers computer account on ICC which i plan to use to write my own engine from scratch (Some Day). Now I just have a lot of Clones that were Highly Modified of the original. I had over 7 computer accounts on ICC. I currently have 2 Accounts and 1 Human Acct. I also have 2 computer accounts on playchess.
