Winboard is good of course, but the engines have to handle their own opening books and this prevents for example myself to use it for my winboard engine. I would be happy also to have a good solution for this problem. I am a bit reluctant to write the opening book handling into the engine, though it seems most people do this. On the other hand I could use Arena 1.1, but it has other features missing. Regards, László
