Hello,

to your question in CCC forum
http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?489886:

The "Middlgam.mbb" of Chess Academy 7
http://www.chessacademy.de/english/index.htm is a middlegame book (comparable to
an opening book) with stored positions out of thousands of famous games of human
grandmasters (Kasparov, Karpov...).
This "Middlgam.mbb" includes of course many of the test postions of the test
suite "WM-Test" too - so the engine of Chess Academy is able to solve these test
positions immediately and scored in this way as the best of 308 tested engines
in the 26 endgame test positions of WM-Test.

For comparing Chess Academy 7 with AND without this "Middlgam.mbb" in WM-Test
please look at the results in my Excel sheet:
a) WITH "Middlgam.mbb"......: rank 1 in endgame, rank 118 in total
a) WITHOUT "Middlgam.mbb": rank 271 in endgame, rank 305 in total.
