I'm at work, so can not provide diagrams of the mainlines...and my move order
might be off but.....

IMO, the critical tests for black in the qxd5 scandi are:

1) the line where white plays ne5 and chases the Q back to qc7.

1 e4 d5
2exd5 Qxd5
3 Nc3 Qa5
4 d4 Nf6
5 Nf3 c6
6 Bd2 Bf5
7 Bc4 e6
8 Ne4 Qc7
9 Nxf6+ gxf6

2) The line kasparov played against anand
1 e4 d5 2 exd5 Qxd5 3 Nc3 Qa5 4 d4 Nf6 5 Nf3 c6 6 Ne5 Be6 7 Bd3

3) a similar line as (2), but ne5 is played at move 7 after black commits to
bf5. the f5 bishop is then hit with the g pawn (g4) and sometimes with the h
pawn and white gets a lot of space on the kside

4) Finally, there is a version with Qe2 and white castling long (did shirov play
this). I think it looks like this (my memory could be off mind you)

1 e4 d5 2 exd5 Qxd5 3 Nc3 Qa5 4 d4 Nf6 5 Nf3 c6 6 Bc4 Bf5 7 Bd2 e6 8 Qe2
Bb4
