Lin, The purpose of crafty in CT-ART is to allow you to check a solution that you think is good, but is not in any of the variations presented with the solution. Now, it may be possible to use crafty to play an entire game from the normal starting position, but you would have to add it using CA 4.0 (note: I have not tried this, it may or may not work). If indeed you had CA 4.0, then you could just play a game against crafty directly in CA. Bob P.
