What explanation do you need past internet connection problems and hardware
problems? I had problems in CCT4 with HIARCS that placed us 18th -- clearly a
disastrous tournament and it had everything to do with connection and interface
issues, not the engine. Is it so hard to believe that this can happen to even
the top engines?

It seems you have another itinerary here, perhaps stemming from your work with
the Fruit team before Ryan was even involved -- specifically your departure.
This, however, has nothing to do with Ryan.

BTW, I hear you will be working with Thomas on Toga. Good luck with that,
though it seems a bit of a dead-end path since it will never compete an any
serious event due to its origins.
