I wanted to test the computer strength but I also wanted to promote to the final. I had bad luck of having strong opponents in the first stage and I was afraid of not promoting to the final so I changed my mind. I know based on the future that I was right and my opponents did well later including one player who did not promote to the next stage(when the final was the last stage). My strong opponents were: 4 270206 Rozenberg, Dov M 2579 178 0,0 0 2005 SM(I drew with him and later won against him twice in the next stages) 8 270216 Yefremov, Yaakov M 2567 76 0,0 0 2004 SM F(he not onlydid not promote to the final but also did not promote to the next stage). 10 270231 Glazman, Moshe M 2545 103 0,0 0 2005 F(I drew with him and he promoted to the final and I expect him to get soon the GM norm as board 9 of Israel in the Europe final Other groups had not strong players like these players so in the next stage it was easier and I scored 7/7 In the final I scored 6.5/8 >Well, I see that today you play in a different way, and it is going very well. >My congratulations! I hope that you become a GM. >Paulo Soares I am playing only in the following tournament http://www.iccf-europa.com/tables/6msm/VI-EU-MSM-Bd3.htm Dov rozenberg is first board of israel when Moshe glazman in 9th board of israel and in his way to the GM norm http://www.iccf-europa.com/tables/6msm/VI-EU-MSM-Bd9.htm My only win so far is thanks to a clerical error of my opponent when he did not write correctly his move in his computer and analyzed the wrong position.
