This is a truth with certain modifications.  It does run on a single
CPU machine if you reduce the number of threads to 1, but I expect it
to be slightly weaker than the older Glaurung 1.0.2 (it also consumes
about 10 MB more memory).  I therefore don't recommend Glaurung CCT8
except for those who have a dual (or better).

There is a small possibility that I am wrong.  Glaurung CCT8 has never
been tested extensively on a single CPU, and it *could* be that it is
as strong as or stronger than Glaurung 1.0.2.  I would be very suprised
if this turned out to be the case.

Thanks for the compliments.  Your Norwegian is very impressive,
but "takk for dette meget sterke sjakkprogrammet" would have been
even more correct.  :-)
