Colleagues: I believe that the ratings we see even in collector's sites are very deceiving as much they are the result of Computer Vs computers matches. But If there is a chess entity designed to play humans, but not other artificial entities, is a dedicated unit. So only computer Vs Human should count and in that field I suspect that EVERY computer is at least 200 points above the current rating they have. I am sure that there is not a single player playing againts dedicated units that has not been vanquished by even supposedly 1400 or 1500 computers. And several times. Humans, on the contrary than oher computers or software, do commit silly mistakes, lose concentration, etc. I personaly consider Champion Challenger -againts human- 1700 at least. Super Connie 2000 at least. And so and so. At least sometimes beaten by Dedicated units regards fernando
