Back in the days of BBS and fidonet, I put some bit counting routines on a C discussion group, and the search engines on my name give most hits on those. Useful stuff takes on a life of its own. Since CCC doesn't seem to be accessible to search engines or outside world at all (I don't know why?), lots of programming pearls will go into memory hole unless someone collects them for outside programmers.
