Hello John,

No, that's standard Minnesota dialect. We say that relatively frequently here.

Although we do have a large Scandinavian population, Minnesota is predominantly
German. The Sandinavians are instead credited with a different phrase, "Uff da!"

"Ja den, dat's da vay vee talk here, don't ya know!"
