Subject: Conversion utilities is a much better idea

I think making utilities that will convert a book from one format to another is
probably a better idea. That shouldn't be too hard to implement, but it would
need some incentive from the GUI producer. Most of them like to keep their book
formats cryptic. For example the author of Shredder was easily able to convert
his proprietary book format into .ctg once an incentive was found. It behooves
me why he wouldn't make a simple utility for all those who bought the non
chessbase Shredder to move their books to a chessbase Shredder. The only reason
I can think of is that it might not have been (to him at least) the best
lucrative option.
