Subject: Is Suffle Chess Better Than FRC For Testing Engines?

I have been running tests on engines based on shuffle chess,It's quite
interesting especially part about different starting position and how engines
calculate right from the start, It's no different to classic chess except the
use of opening books

I think it is fair to test engines that could not use their own books. And
testing 2 engines in a classic chess again and again without opening on a
certain position would lead to repeated games.

But shuffle chess in arena loads the different starting position after each game
or in tourneys and that's fair.

It would be a great idea to test engines on all 960 possible position.

I'm surprised that many people only test engines on classic chess. If you are
only looking for engine's strength, then the results of shuffle chess would
provide every detail about the strength and it's understanding of chess.

Programmers would have to implement extra code for implementing FRC to the
engine.Shuffle chess doesn't require all that. And ofcourse all engines that are
available as a freeware works perfectly with shuffle chess.

I wonder what exactly is wrong with shuffle chess?
