Hi, I tried some sort of this simply by giving the history table an initial value >> 0. (As I only prune below Zero moves that are choosen poorly will not be pruned). As allways when I excluded moves from pruning it played less well. I am sure that late move reduction has more effects than simply reducing the amount of nodes searched. Greetings Volker
