Subject: 50 move rule question

What is the result in a game between programs if both program do not know the 50
move rule and continue to play?

I found that in some games of the ssdf there were 100 plies without conversion
(without capture and without a move of a pawn).
The final position after 100 plies was not mate.

I know that in this case it is a draw if one of the players ask for draw by the
50 move rule.

The problem is what is the low if no player ask for draw and one side is
winning.

I found that this is exactly what happened in some ssdf games.

Some programs knows that it is a draw but instead of stopping to play and claim
that it is a draw they start to do stupid mistakes and lose the game.

I think that in comp-comp games it should be a draw even in this case(otherwise
it is not clear when to stop a game and a game can continue forever).
