Subject: Books still beat software?

Even though there is a lot of good chess software such as ,playing programs,
(Fritz5, HIARCS, MChess, CSTAL, ect), and chess databases, (CB7, Chess
Assistant, Chess Academy), & even tutorials, (Chess Mentor, TASC Chess Tutor,
CTART, ect.), I still get the most out of the enourmous range of chess books
available.  One of the latest coolest books is, 'Secrets Of Modern Chess
Strategy', by John Watson.  And there are many other great chess books I won't
bother to mention here.  My thought is that reading these books, stands to
improve one understanding of chess more then the software can currently do, even
without studying the game later on the computer screen...
