I stand corrected. You're spot on! The original Fritz' blundercheck option only checked variations. The new version has been improved to allow full game analysis, complete with numerical assessments. Thanks for discovering this! I never looked, as I never used blundercheck in the past and didn't know they'd tweaked it up!
