Hello Jouni, For one thing 20 games is not enough games to draw any conclusions except that Fritz is probably stronger than crafty on equal hardware. Last month I played 300 games Crafty16.6 vs Crafty 16.6. One had tabelbases the other did not. The games were run in three different series of 100 games each uninterupted. In each of the 100 game sets, if you look at the first 50 games vs the second 50 games Crafty with tablebases won convinceingly. But in each case in the second 50 games it was reversed. Total score after 300 games was 151-149 ! Jim Walker
