Frederic is a partner in Chessbase (and I believe also Fritz), so he has a financial incentive for chess programs to be Grandmaster strength (i.e. he is probably somewhat biased). However, if push comes to shove, I think that his assessment is probably not too far off. In which context did he make this statement? KarinsDad :)
