Mr. Carson,

Kasparov is the best of course. His mind is a mighty tool of chess mastery.
Computers still have not been able to conquer the positional nuances in chess.
Most of us play relatively poorly and that is why Fritz beats our pants off.

Being number one only means that you are indeed better than your competition but
in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter much. Mr. Bill Gates has more
assets than all 500,000 people here in Albuquerque but he is not the smartest
human or the strongest or the best looking.

Kasparov outranks Fritz by at least 200 to 300 points. Deeper Blue is not
available for play at this time. Robert Hyatt knows that IBMs' program is a
massive and mercurial monster that only two or three people in the world can tie
with.

Sincerely,

Tim Frohlick
