Subject: Funky Fritz 5.32 controls behaviour -- what do *you* think?

OK, I've had Fritz a while now and I like it, but...

1. Shouldn't "Infinite Analysis" and "Play against Fritz" work differently? When
I toggle off infinite, I automatically get "Play against Fritz". Very
irritating. I want to choose infinite, and when I turn it off, have Fritz in a
"no infinite, no play Fritz" mode.

Aargh.

2. System resources. I'm sorry, but the most system-resource-draining app I own
is Fritz. Run Fritz, lose system resources. Run an app or two more, and my
laptop grinds to a halt. I'm a programmer, I run some big, demanding apps. Why
does Fritz top them all?

3. Save, save, save. Or autosave. With point #2, above, I get this situation: I
leave Fritz to do a long analysis. System resources get slowly used (or, worse,
leaked), Fritz freezes... and, of course, I loose all results up until them.
It's far worse (for obvious reasons) when I do engine-engine or engine tourneys.

Double aargh. Wouldn't a "Save Fritz's Progress Every Minute Or So" be great?

4. Resizing Frtiz's window. Need I say more? I want to bring up Fritz with a
small board and keep in a corner of my nice, high-rez display. But no... Fritz
wants the whole screen or nothing at all.

Anything to add? This isn't really a wish-list for Fritz 6 -- these are
usability issues that should be addressed in addition to the major new
features/performance improvements I expect from the next version of Fritz.

Caveat: keep in mind that I *love* Fritz. It's (he's?) great. I just want
greater ;-)

Regards.
