Kasparov is about 100 points above Kramnik and Anand according to informal ratings for the end of April 1999. Regarding a tournament slow time control game, no microprocessor at present could hope to seriously challenge Garry. Deep Blue II is in cold storage and IBM has no financial incentive, unfortunately, to have further matches. If Garry had access to Deep Blue's training games, then most likely Garry would defeat Deep Blue II. If Garry had won, then IBM would have continued development to Deep Blue III and if a further quantum jump would have been successful in its level of play then perhaps Deep Blue III would rightfully be numero uno.
