I am not sure in your situation, but I know the very latest COMCTL32.DLL does
not work to well with CM6K. So if you have explorer 5 then you can thank
Microsoft for stuffing up your system.

I have also found that the COMCTL32.DLL file also stuffs up some of my other
programs. I loaded Internet Explorer 5 and it really stuffed my system up, error
everywhere. and this is true with other people I know.

So have a look at that and if no help there, then I do not know. But I would
Blame Miscrosoft anyway, they usually are the cause for things like this.
